We treat all our Buyers’ and contributors’ personal information with utmost security. Below we explain how your information is processed.

For you, the Buyer
Folio is the personal data controller of all the information you upload with a Buyer account using our service '’www.folio.se''. Therefore, no Data Processing Agreement is required for you as a Buyer.
An image with an identifiable person is a form of personal data. This means that we collect and manage these with the highest level of security. When you, the Buyer, have downloaded such an image from www.folio.se we are unable to control how you handle this particular image (personal data), and you are responsible for managing the images in a protected way in such a method that ensures that unauthorized people are not certified access to the images/personal data. You are also responsible for using the images according to our Terms and conditions.

For you, the contributor
Images and model releases are personal data. As a contributor you are the personal data controller of all the images you submit to our service www.folio.se. Additionally, you are responsible for transferring images that are in your ownership when using our service www.folio.se. You must always have a valid model and/or property release when sending images to Folio. Folio will act as a Personal Data Processor in accordance with the Data Processing Agreement which is included in the Terms and conditions.
To simplify and certify this, we handpick all the images, we collect the model releases and confirm that you, the contributor, own the right to publish and sell the user rights of your images through our service. This is to minimize the risk for both our contributors and Buyers. If you, as a contributor, should intentionally violate these policies you have committed a breach of contract and are solely responsible for possible damages the breach of contract brings upon Folio and/or our Buyers.
